Looking for post nfa eventual Spuffy .

I want Spike to be extremely bitter towards Buffy about the Immortal. Also possible that he thinks that she sent Angel away from Sunnydale to keep Angel safe and that she chose Spike to die in his place.

Prefer long because I want them to work out thier issues. That's why I said eventual Spuffy.

Don't mind a little Spike/ other character (as long as he treats them right) so that Buffy can see what she's missing. Prefer complete but wip is ok as long as it progress is still going on.

I read one of these recently, but I can't remember where it was - whether it was LJ or on the Net. Perhaps someone can help?

Spike had survived the alley and was in a human hospital. Buffy was with him and he wouldn't wake up. When he did, he was angry that she was dating the Immortal. She apologized all over the place but he kept up his walls. I remember a lot of tears, her sleeping in the hospital bed with him (just sleeping, nothing else), and her being miserable because she knew she'd blown it in about 5 different ways.

I think he eventually forgave her and they left the hospital. He's shanshu'd but hasn't realized it yet. It was complete, but the author ended it too soon if this is the one I'm thinking of. I know they went back to his apartment... I think... and Spike was "evolving" from the shanshu.

Ring any bells? I wish I knew where to look for it, I'm going to have to start writing this stuff down.

Summary: It's mostly post NFA with just a couple of bits set pre GiQ. I know the timeline might not quite fit with canon but, you know Andrew... He might have seen them snuggling once and be exaggerating and Angel's spy could have been unconscious for days...

Spike and Angel make use of an unexpected invitation in order to settle some old scores. Fred is gone but not forgotten and neither is the fact that Giles refused to help. It's about a month too late (and I'm just talking about the first chapter) but this is my 'Happy Birthday' for this year to Luba Kmetyk, wonderful administrator at The Crypt.

Already reading it. In fact I'm really looking forward to the next chapter where Buffy definitely is gonna see Spike , considering how close things were when the cliff was hung.
