Sweet Angelus/William

Hi! I'm so sorry if this has been asked before. I love Spangel, but notice a trend of Angel or Angelus treating Spike like crap. Either raping, dominating, manipulating, or just being mean. Are there any Angelus/ William fics where Angelus tries to woo William? Are there any where Angel tries to woo Spike? With kind acts? Gifts? Romance? Even if they fight, that's totally ok. But I guess I just get sensitive when Spike gets treated so badly. Do they exist? Btw, I'm so thrilled this group is still around, and that the Buffyverse lives on even 12 years later :-)

Yeah, it's pretty unusual dynamics for them, especially outside all-human AUs.
The only story that comes to mind is Amnesia!Spike (http://www.allaboutspike.com/fic.html?id=817) by mahaliem, though it's not focused solely on Angel/Spike (there is also some Spike/Buffy and Spike/Xander). But there is additional scene for Amnesia!Spike (http://dragonyphoenix.livejournal.com/22667.html) by dragonyphoenix that is.

I have always loved Amesia!Spike!! Because I started out Spuffy, moved on to Spander, than fell in love with Spangel. That's how it happened 10 yrs. ago. Now I still love all three. This fic was taylor made for me, lol. But! I didn't know about that Spangel extra!!! That was such a treat!! Thank you!! I'm still holding out hope that a Angelus wooing William fic exists though. Even in Human AU, there's gotta be something. Anyway, thanks doll!!!

Yeah, I absolutely loved Amnesia!Spike and was happy to discover that additional scene =)

Belated thought - Dedicated follower of fashion (http://laisserais.livejournal.com/15349.html) by laisserais could partly fit the bill of "Angelus wooing William". But it's still far from fluffy, because, well, Angelus.
Plus sabershadowcat (http://archiveofourown.org/users/sabershadowkat/works?commit=Sort+and+Filter&page=1&utf8=%E2%9C%93&work_search%5Bcomplete%5D=0&work_search%5Blanguage_id%5D=&work_search%5Bother_tag_names%5D=Angel%2FSpike&work_search%5Bquery%5D=&work_search%5Bsort_column%5D=revised_at) had written quite a number of fluffy Spangel stories. Not exactly the wooing, but (mostly) not the darkfic fest, thats typical for spangel stoies. Just keep eye on the tags and warnings, as it's not all fluff.

Thank you kindly for the recs! I will read them. I remember Sabershadowcat from years ago. I don't remember what she wrote, but I do remember that she was very popular and that I liked her fics. Now that I'm back to the fandom after 8 yrs. away, every story is like new again. I'll really enjoy looking through her stuff. Thank you!
