6. Prayers for a Poet by FetchingMadScientist (http://www.bloodshedverse.com/stories.php?go=chapters&no=1109) This one is the first part of a series, but I haven't read the rest of the stories yet.

8. Long Day's Journey by Annaross (http://www.livejournal.com/tools/memories.bml?user=anaross&keyword=Journey&filter=all) This is is actually post-Chosen. Since you asked for post NFA, I stayed away from them; but this is one of the most well-written fics that I've read. Definitely in the top two, and I've read an unhealthy amount of fic :-P
