Spike with willpower

Season Six the Spike/Buffy relationship was disastrous in most ways. The last time I really liked Spike was when he kicked Buffy out of his home when she was invisible and actually stood up for himself. There are a couple fics where Spike finally has enough and kicks Buffy out or leaves town, lots of which are set right after the alley scene in Dead Things. Could anyone rec some more of the stories that are Spuffy where Spike leaves town or resists Buffy in Season Six? Thanx!

there is a very good unfinished story at allaboutspike entitled misery. Its by Illyria and I couldn't find hide nor hair of this person anywhere else. Spike has had enough and wants to just get away for a while. As he heads out Anya asks to get away too. Nice chararacter work and friendship for the 2.

I like the story series by Zarrah. I would have enjoyed moer in this verse but She isn't writing in fandom anymore. Again Spike has had enough with the Buffy sitch. Zarrah introduces an orig character for him, she is a female vampire named Raven.

All I can think of are WIPS. I hope you get some recommendations because I'd like to read them to.

I was going to recommend Misery, too. It's unfinished and I think it was meant to end up Spuffy. But Anya and Spike out on their own and learning that they really aren't so bad is really good. I love that story.

Another I love is a Spike/Faith, also unfinished and hard to find as the author took it down from most sites. It's called 'Life's what happens when you are making other plans' by ComedyOfErrors. In this one, after being left alone in that building in Smashed, realizes that a relationship with Buffy wasn't all he'd thought it was going to be.

This is one where Spike leaves after Dead Things, and I'm pretty sure it will be Spuffy in the end.

Oh. Another one is Haunted by an author whose name begins with a K.

Although Spike doesn't actually get a backbone in this one. After Dead Things, Dawn convinces him he has to leave and later joins him and several years later they have a demon hunting business and run into Buffy on a job.
