Has anyone wrote a Spuffy or gen fic post LMPTM at the earliest where Wood finds out that his watcher set Nikki up to be killed by one of the council wetworks squad and Spike just got there first? Thereby meaning that at least she got to go out fighting with Spike unlike a ambush by humans with long range weapons.

In fact I had posted this as a free plot bunny on waywardbunnies a long time ago but nobody took me up on it. I figured I'd ask on the off chance that someone had the same idea and written it. I just really think that finding out that Nikki's watcher (who raised Wood I believe) had set her up to die would really blow Wood's mind.Especially since it would mean that Spike had really given her a more honorable death than her watcher planned for her.
